Be a Star in Someone’s Life!
Please give generously.
For $25 per pay
period, you've got the power to:
· Purchase a portable ramp so a wheelchair bound teen can venture out into her community.
· Empower a young mom with disabilities to gain employment to provide for her three children.
· Provide therapy sessions for a senior with a disability.
· Provide needy families with individuals with disabilities food baskets during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
· Purchase a two-week stay at camp for a child with disabilities.
· Support “Family Fun & Fitness Day” for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
· Pay for travel expenses for one disabled person going to college to further her education.
· Equip an office with desk, computer, and other needed furniture.
· Furnish an opportunity to take a belly dancing class for an individual with a disability
· Pay for travel expenses for one disabled person going to seeking job opportunities in the community
· Fund the printing and distribution of newsletters to individuals with developmental disabilities affecting their lives
· Make one community-based mentoring match for an at risk youth.
· Pay a month's salary for a community counselor.
· Maintain a website-answering questions about services to the developmental disabled
